Lake Arrowhead State Park is located in Clay County south of the city of Wichita Falls in far North Texas. We visited in early April and found that, while the recent rains had made the countryside quite lush, the wildflower populations were somewhat less than expected.
The trip yielded a number of flowering plants, including one new species for this collection, Prunus angustifolia (Chickasaw Plum).
