A return trip to Big Bend in December, 2025, was planned at the last minute. I didn’t expect much in terms of wildflowers, and there weren’t any to speak of. I had been neglecting images of grasses, so, in the absence of colorful flowers, I decided to explore the members of the Poa (grass) family. Eight new plant species were added to the collection.
