In Central Texas, as in most other portions of the state, there were very few fall flowers because of the very hot and dry weather that extended well into October. Thanks to encouragement from fellow photographer Steve Schwartzmann, I found a few plants in northeast Austin near East Braker Lane, including a couple new species.
