Returning from the Guadalupe Mountains the second week of April, I stopped for a couple nights at San Angelo State Park. The drought has not been nearly as bad as further west and there were quite a few plants that were blooming. Leaving there, heading southeast along US 87, I also found some interesting shots, including five new species for this site.
Later, in October, I took a chance and went back and found that the drought had lifted nicely and there were some fall blooming species to shoot, including some new ones for this site.
