Description Habitat: Dry, rocky, calcareous soils.
Plant: Erect perennial 6 to 12 inches tall.
Leaves: Crowded at base, 1-1/2 to 4 inches long, narrow oblanceloate, a few along stems.
Inflorescence: Single flower heads on each stem, about 1-1/2 inch in diameter, white to lavender-white ray florets, yellow centers.
Bloom Period: April and May.
