Description Habitat: Prairies, fields, roadsides, abandoned areas; various soils.
Plant: Upright annual 1 to 4 feet tall; single bushy stem, branched.
Leaves: Alternate stalked compound leaves, each with three elliptic-oblong to obovate leaflets with serrated edges, 1/2 to 1 inch long.
Inflorescence: Racemes up to 6 inches long arising from leaf axils with many very small white flowers, each about 1/16-inch wide.
Bloom Period: May to September.
