Description Habitat: Open areas, roadsides, fields.
Plant: Prostrate perennial with several stems radiating from a taproot, growing to 8 inches tall.
Leaves: Compound leaves 1-1/2 inches long pinnately-divided into 5 to 9 leaflets each 1/4 to 1/2 inch long.
Inflorescence: Pinkish-red pea-like flowers about 1/2-inch long.
Bloom Period: April to October.
