After the shut-down of the Texas State Parks ended about June 1, I was finally able to get out to a spot I had wanted to get back to for a long time: Palo Duro Canyon State Park southeast of Amarillo. I could not get as many nights as I wanted there but was able to add a couple nights at Copper Breaks State Park, south of Quanah. Having never been there I did not know what to expect, but there were a number of wildflowers still blooming nicely. And I found four species that I had never captured before.
