Description Low, upright to widely sprawling annual, 4 to 16 inches tall; leaves 2 to 5 inches long, spine-tipped, very deeply cut, with small hairs, sticky; flower heads 1 to 2-1/2 inches across with blue-to-purple, narrow ray flowers (petals) and yellow disk flowers.
